General Policies

• A member of the registering group wil be present at check-in and check-out for a review of camp conditions and fees.

• Campfires are permitted based on condition of risk for forest fires in the National Forest at the time, and permission of the Camp Director. They may occur only in the pavilion fireplace, grill, and fire ring.

• Smoking is prohibited in all buildings and discouraged in general.

• The USDA prohibits the uprooting or cutting of trees, plants and shrubs.

• The use of alcohol, illegal drugs, firearms, or fireworks is expressly forbidden on the camp premises. Persons caught with these items will be asked to leave immediately.

• Please do not litter.
  

Registration Information

A completed registration form and check for the appropriate user fee must be turned in to the Camp Office no more than two weeks from the date we "pencil in" your event . Otherwise the date is still open on our calendar.

A $200 damage deposit may be required of your group. If the facilities are in good standing, this will be returned at check-out. A member of the renting group must be physically present for check-out. If the camp is clean and damage free, the deposit check will be returned at this time.

If there is damage to the facility, your group forfeits the entire deposit fee regardless of the cost of the damage. If the repair costs exceed the amount of the deposit, the group will be billed for the difference. If there is damage, the group forfeits future use of the facilities pending a review by the District Camping Committee.

All fees will be calculated at check-out with a member of the renting group present to sign off on both inspection and fees.

Upon signing the Application for Use form, each group agrees to the agreed upon fees, rules, and regulations of the camp. Some of the camp policies and rules are placed on this page. A full list is available on request and is always available at the camp.

The user fee is refundable up to 8 weeks prior to the reservation date, but not after.
